Mott MacDonald, the Fleming Fund Management Agent for Country and Regional Grants, invites proposals from qualified licensed/registered entities to work toward strengthening antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance and response in Sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia. There are eight grants covering 4 priority domains.
Key domain 1: Quality of laboratory bacteriology diagnostics
- External Quality Assurance (EQA) and common surveillance protocols
Key domain 2: Capacity building
- Microbiology, epidemiology and surveillance training in AMR
Key domain 3: Planning, policy and advocacy
- Improving data analysis and sharing across regions
Key domain 4: Regional infrastructure capabilities
- Understanding barriers to logistics and improving regional capability for whole genome sequencing and bioinformatics
