Laboratory capacity strengthening for drug resistant infections in low and middle income countries

This work aimed, through a combination of desk-based investigation, interviews, and visits to three countries, to map and compare existing surveillance systems for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and to examine what worked and what did not work. The report, one of a series of reports commissioned by the Fleming Fund and Wellcome Trust to inform the grant programme, was prepared by Anna C. Seale et al., London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, London, UK.
