The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Papua New Guinea Country Grant is now closed and applications are being reviewed.
Mott MacDonald, the Fleming Fund Management Agent for Country Grants, invites proposals from qualified licensed/registered entities in Papua New Guinea to work towards strengthening antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance and response in Papua New Guinea. Work will be carried out in support of Papua New Guinea’s National Antimicrobial Resistance Steering Committee (NAMRSC).
Objectives of the grant
The objectives of the grant have been developed and agreed in close collaboration with members of the NAMRSC. The objectives are to:
- strengthen One Health approaches to information sharing
- strengthen AMR, antimicrobial use (AMU) and antimicrobial consumption (AMC) surveillance and monitoring systems in the human health sector
- strengthen AMR, AMU and AMC surveillance and monitoring systems in the animal health sector
